Merkled Studio is a design and manufacturing company based in Portland, Oregon. We create contemporary furniture, fixtures, and products for residential and commercial spaces.

We are a process driven studio that values simplicity, quality, handcraft, and materiality.

All of our products are crafted in the U.S. We fabricate and assemble all of our products in-house and work closely with a valued network of local vendors.

Most of our products can be customized in dimension and color. All of our products are designed to withstand commercial use.

Merkled Studio's work has been shown at galleries and retail stores around the world including the NY MOMA Design Store, ICFF, IDS, and NeoCon.

### Merkled Net Stool

The Merkled Net Stool uses the texture and strength of knotting in combination with a machined and welded steel frame to create a minimal, flexible, and comfortable seat.

The Merkled Net Wrap Chair features a minimal welded steel frame wrapped with knotted nylon cord and an upholstered cushion made from durable outdoor Sunbrella fabric, creating a flexible and comfortable seat.

### Starbucks at Yosemite Basecamp

This reserve Starbucks store within a National Park features forest- and urban-recovered old growth redwood cladding from trees that fell long ago. Tight grain and classic redwood tones punctuate the space with natural wood paneling inviting you in. Pulling it all together, the construction team also created merchandising bins clad in solid wood planks as well.
